Pesticide and herbicide-free fruits and vegetables grown right here in Minnesota.

About Our Produce

We grow a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables on our 20-acre farm in Minnesota—everything is grown without the use of pesticides or herbicides. In early spring we’ll have limited quantities of tender asparagus and fresh rhubarb available. Our ground sits low and many of our gardens have heavier soil which can delay the planting and maturing of some produce. As the season progresses, you’ll find our market tables stocked with broccoli and other cole crops, carrots, beets, sugar snap peas and garlic scapes. When July and August arrive the summer produce is abundant.  Zucchini, cucumbers, beans, onions, garlic, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, herbs and eventually sweet corn are among the fresh finds available. There is also regular picking of raspberries. Our first pears become ready in August. Harvesting any plums is still a challenge as spring cold snaps seem to regularly damage the plum blossoms. Sweet, vine-ripened muskmelon and cantaloupe ripen soon after the pears, and watermelon typically arrives around Labor Day. Closing out the season, brussels sprouts, winter squash, and pumpkins continue through the end of the outdoor market season.
